THE ESTHER PROJECT
The Esther Project supports women across South Warwickshire who are facing trauma, crisis, isolation and significant life challenges.
Based in Royal Leamington Spa, we provide safe spaces, supported housing, counselling, one-to-one support, wellbeing activities, community drop-ins and practical support for women rebuilding their lives.
“Our mission is to create a nurturing and empowering community where every woman can heal, grow, and realise her true potential. We are committed to supporting women to overcome barriers caused by trauma, and social or economic disadvantage, enabling them to thrive and build fulfilling, independent lives.”

Join us on Thursday evenings for honest conversation, community, tea, reflection and a reminder that you are not alone.
Aimed at all women quietly navigating life’s pressures, from professionals to busy mums, and carers to business owners.
You do not need to be in crisis to need support, connection or somewhere safe to exhale.
Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, isolated, emotionally tired or simply longing for deeper connection, Behind the Smile offers a calm, confidential and compassionate place to land.

A thoughtfully curated pre-loved shop in the heart of Leamington Spa, offering quality women’s clothing, accessories, books, homeware and occasional designer finds.
Every purchase directly supports the work of The Esther Project, helping provide safe spaces, practical support and recovery services for women across our community.
Funded by Leamington Spa Town Council, led by Judith Perry and lovingly created by our amazing Esther ladies and supporters, our Queen’s Cape is adorned with over 1,000 hand-crocheted hearts.
